Ryanair Holdings Plc has been allocated slots to operate flights from the Orly Airport in Paris starting in 2025.
The French airport coordinator Cohor placed as many as 8,000 slots in the pool of Paris Orly last September, with half reserved for new entrants and half for others. Two have been awarded to Ryanair.
The Irish low-cost carrier, founded in 1984 and based in Dublin, currently serves more than 230 destinations in more than 30 countries, mostly in Europe.
The flights from Paris Orly will connect with the Italian city of Bergamo and the Slovakian capital, Bratislava, according to Bloomberg.
The new destinations are not yet available on the company’s official website as details have not been shared with the public. From Paris, Ryanair continues to manage flights from the Beauvais Airport, which is further away from Paris than Orly.
Ryanair’s fleet numbers at least 600 planes. It recently posted €13.44 billion in gross revenue for 2024.
