Leapmotor International, a joint venture led by Stellantis (51%) and Leapmotor (49%), has shipped its first batch of C10 SUVs and T03 cars from Shanghai to Europe.
This event marks a significant step in this partnership, emphasizing a shared commitment to quickly delivering sustainable mobility solutions and innovation to the European EV market, Stellantis said in a press release.

The C10 and T03 models feature cutting-edge EV technology, promising exceptional performance, efficiency, and range. As of June 2024, Leapmotor ranked as the fourth largest Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startup by sales.
As of the first half of July, Leapmotor has sold over 400,000 EVs in China since its first sale.
The C10 and T03 models were designed to meet the high standards of global customers, according to the statement, as the two companies are working to establish 200 sales points across Europe by the end of this year, with plans to increase this number up to 500 until 2026 using Stellantis’ distribution channels. Leapmotor International also intends to manufacture one new model every three year.
Leapmotor C10 is an award-winning family-centric D-segment vehicle with a 420 km WLTP range and is designed to meet the 5-star E-NCAP rating standard. It features the self-developed LEAP3.0 technology architecture, central integrated electronic and electrical architecture, cell-to-chassis (CTC) technology, and an intelligent cockpit.

Leapmotor T03 is a small five-door A-segment urban boutique commuter car with a B-segment interior space. It has a 265 km WLTP range. It ranked No. 1 in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study for the small BEV segment.
The company has not revealed the exact number of cars in the first batch heading to Europe.
